December, 2007:
While drunk on a road trip through Patagonia, Alex, Tania, and Leonardo come up with the idea behind LetMeGo New Zealand.

January, 2008:
Design and coding starts. October is set as the target date to start registering hosts.

October, 2008:
The deadline for the beta flies by.


January, 2009:
Again while drunk, but now desperate, Alex decides to lock down the development team. They will code 24x7 until the software is ready to start registering hosts. We called it, the LetMeGo Immersion.

April, 2009:
Henry leads a mutiny. Alex replaces the supplies of RedBull with beer and liquor. Control is restored.

May, 2009:
Finally, hosts start registering.


January, 2010:
We open the doors of our beta version to travellers.


February, 2010:
We start looking for partners to launch our service in Spanish and Portuguese. The LetMeGo Challenge is announced and hundreds of applicants participate.

August, 2010:
Over 10,000 hosts in 143 countries register.

November, 2010:
Andro and Sérgio win the LetMeGo I18N Challenge.

April, 2011:
After more than 50,000 man-hours of coding, LetMeGo New Zealand is officially launched.
